An Early Pair of Continental Flintlock Holster Pistols, With sighted round barrels chased and engraved with scrolling foliage, brass tangs decorated with foliage, chased and engraved brass locks, steel cocks decorated en-suite (one cock restored and spring replaced) beautifully carved full-stocks with raised mouldings around the tangs, locks and ramrod pipes (one stock cracked and repair and grip) engraved brass mounts comprising pierced side-plates, long-eared butt caps, trigger guards and ramrod pipes, with horn-tipped ramrods. A nice early pair.
