A 16 Bore French Percussion Sporting Gun by Maule of Paris. With sighted browned barrels engraved DAMAS TURC in gold in on the central rib towards the breech, foliate engraved breech block, foliate engraved tang, foliate engraved back action locks, signed MAULE in gold, with finely engraved lions head hammers, figured walnut half-stock (one old split beneath the barrel to the right hand side) engraved brass mounts comprising butt plate, trigger guard and turned ramrod pipes, with horn tipped ramrod, (a replacement).
