With plain tearing barrel stamped with a crowned ’12’ on the right side of the breech and stamoedr with Ordnance proofs, plain tang stamped with crown inspection mark, border engraved flat bevelled lock with ‘GR’ crowned and ’Tower’ across the tail, struck with Ordnance mark under the pan, border engraved ring-neck cock, figured full stock, some old bruising and splits) with apron around the barrel tang and stamped with inspectors marks including those in the ramrod channel, regulation brass mounts including pommel cap, belt-hook and bras tipped ramrod.
