With sighted browned rounded barrel, gold fore-sight, double gold line and gold touch-hole, decorated with star burst and gold stars on the top of the barrel, signed bevelled lock, decorated with stands of arms and signed within a gold poincon, rain-proof pan, cock decorated en suite, three-quarter stocked in walnut, with chequered grip (old repair to wrist) engraved silver mounts comprising butt-plate and barrel bolt escutcheons, finely engraved steel trigger guard decorated on the bow with stands of arms and pineapple finial, engraved turned ramrod pipes, horn-tipped ramrod.

Made box-lock flintlock pocket pistols with silver butt caps, and three-barrel flintlock coach pistols with single hammer and pan, barrels rotated by hand. On some of his pieces the under spring bayonet was released by sliding back the trigger guard. Shop at Hull, Yorkshire.
