A Flintlock Man-Stopper by Patrick of Liverpool. With heavy sighted octagonal barrel, engraved LIVERPOOL along the top-flat, with case-hardened breech and platinum plug, swelling tang incorporating rear-sight and engraved with foliage, signed, bevelled lock fitted with a sliding safety catch, waterproof pan (roller missing) and with set-trigger, full-stocked in walnut, cut with chequering at the grip, rectangular escutcheon engraved with ducal crown, engraved steel mounts comprising trigger guard decorated with foliage on the bow, foliate engraved ramrod pipe and brass mounted ramrod (replacement).
