With swamped brass barrel signed ‘London’ within a tear-drop and stamped with Tower private proofs, foliate engraved steel tang, border engraved brass lock, with foliate engraved steel cock, full-stocked in walnut with raised mouldings around the tang and lock, brass mounts comprising pierced side-plate, escutcheon and butt cap, with border engraved trigger guard with acanthus leaf finial, turned ramrod pipes, with original brass tipped ramrod with worm.
