With octagonal turn-off barrel, fitted with a spring bayonet to the right, decorated with a band of engraving towards the breech, border engraved box-lock action, decorated with stands of arms to the left and signed on a band to the right, stamped below with London proofs, fitted above with a sliding safety catch that also locks the pan, cock decorated en suite, top jaw screw loose, chequered walnut butt with vacant oval escutcheon.
