A Fine 54 Bore Irish Six Shot Percussion Pepperbox Revolver by W & J Rigby, No. 9787 for 1847. With case hardened hand detachable barrel block engraved with characteristic scrollwork in front of each nipple and with foliage on the rib between each muzzle, the spindle serving as a ramrod, signed blued action engraved with further scrollwork, blued barrel block release studs, applied nipple shield on each side, engraved en suite, bar-hammer engraved en suite, blued thumb piece safety catch with chequered stud, blued trigger guard and serial numbered grip-strap engraved en suite, finely chequered figured walnut grips, with most of its original finish.
