with sighted browned octagonal barrel, foliate engraved breech retaining colour case hardening, foliate engraved tang fitted with standing rear-sight, retaining all original colour, border engraved, signed, back-action lock, full-stocked in walnut cut with deep chequering at the grip, engraved, blued mounts comprising foliate engraved trigger guard and ramrod pipes, captive ramrod, rectangular silver escutcheon signed with the original owners name, ‘J. H. Leece’  In superb condition overall.
