A Fine Pair of Silver Mounted Cannon Barrel Pistols by Barber of Newark, With three stage turn-off cannon barrels, struck below with Tower of London private proofs, border engraved steel box-lock actions, both decorated with stands of arms and foliage to the right hand side and signed ‘BARBER NEWARK’ on a Rocco scroll to the left, finely engraved sliding safety guards that lock the hammers at half-cock, slab sided walnut butts inlaid with scrolling silver wire, with vacant silver escutcheons, in superb untouched conditions overall.
