A Pair of Flintlock Box-Lock Pistols by Daykin of Nottingham, Circa 1760. With round three-stage turn-off barrels , stamped at the breech with London proofs and stamped with Daykins barrel smiths mark, engraved box-lock actions, signed ‘Nottingham’ on a scroll to the left and decorated with a stand of arms to the right signed at the breech, slab sided walnut butts inlaid with scrolling silver wire, (some small cracks to the grips).

One pistol is in better condition than the other.
