With octagonal double barrel block, decorated with a geometric band at the muzzle and engraved, COGSWELL STRAND LONDON and fitted with a top mounted sprung bayonet, foliate engraved box-lock action decorated with scrolling foliage and retaining much original finish, cocks decorated en suite (repairs to both cock spurs) finely chequered walnut butt with vacant rectangular escutcheon, foliate engraved trigger guard, the barrels both stamped 697 and with captive ramrod.
