A Percussion Belt Pistol by G. Gibbs of Bristol. With sighted, browned barrel, decorated with a band of engraving at the muzzle and signed along the top, ‘G. GIBBS BRISTOL’ fitted with captive ramrod beneath and stamped with Birmingham proofs, foliate engraved box-lock action, retaining traces of original finish, fitted with sliding safety catch, chequered walnut grip, with vacant white metal escutcheon, profusely engraved steel butt-cap, with trap, trigger guard decorated with scrolling foliage. A crisp pistol with traces of original finish.
