A Crisp Pair of Rifled Percussion Pistols by Lill of Louth. With re-blued turn-off barrels, decorated with a band of foliage at the muzzles and a band at the breech end, stamped with Birmingham proofs beneath, foliate engraved brass box-lock actions signed ‘LILL’ on one side and ‘LOUTH’ on the other, re-blued dolphin hammers, chequered walnut butts with vacant oval escutcheons: in an associated velvet lined box with a good little powder flask. A nice set.
