A Crisp Flintlock Overcoat Pistol by W. Hole of Bristol. With sighted octagonal barrel retaining traces of original brown, profusely engraved tang cut with a sighting groove, signed stepped lock, fitted with a sliding safety catch (thumb piece broken off) decorated with sprays of foliage at the tail, full-stocked in walnut, cut with a band of chequering at the grip, with engraved steel trigger guard, decorated with foliage on the bow and a pineapple finial, engraved ramrod pipes, with captive ramrod.
