A Crisp New Land Pattern Pistol, Dated 1800. With round barrel stamped with Tower proofs at the breech and the sold out of service mark (opposed arrows), plain tang stamped with crown, bevelled lock with crowned GR and crisp ordnance mark and signed ‘TOWER’ across the tail, the lock and cock decorated with a small spray of foliage, full-stocked in walnut, struck with numerous inspectors and acceptance marks, with regulation brass furniture including butt-plate, side-plate and trigger guard. A fine example.
