A Cased Pair of Percussion Pistols by Alex Wilson of London. With sighted re-browned octagonal barrels, signed ‘ALEX R WILSON, SHERRARD STR T, LONDON’ along the top flats, single gold lines at the breeches, beautifully engraved tangs, incorporating rear-sights, stepped bevelled locks, signed ALEX R WILSON, LONDON, converted from flintlock, half-stocked in walnut cut with chequering at the grip, with vacant shield shaped escutcheons and white metal fore-end caps, engraved steel mounts comprising trigger guard decorated with shields and foliage on the bows and pineapple finials, replacement horn-tipped ramrods: in an associated lined and fitted case with all accessories including bullet mould, powder flask, etc.
