A Cased Pair of Percussion Overcoat Pistols by P. Bond, London. With browned octagonal barrels, signed ‘CORNHILL LONDON’ along the top-flats, foliate engraved breech tangs, stepped, bevelled locks, decorated with double border line engraving and signed ‘P. BOND’ with foliate engraved percussion hammers (converted from flintlock) full-stocked in walnut with vacant oval brass escutcheons, brass mounts comprising foliate engraved butt plates, trigger guards decorated with two flower heads and stylised pineapple finals, turned ramrod pipes with horn-mounted ramrods with worms: in associated case, with accessories including powder-flask, bullet mould, cleaning rod etc.
