A Brass Framed Silver Mounted Flintlock Box-Lock Pistol by Bunney, Circa 1785. With round, turn-off three stage barrel, struck with London proofs. Border engraved box-lock action signed BUNNEY within a scroll surrounded by foliage on the left side and LONDON on the right, sliding trigger safety. Swelling walnut butt inlaid with scrolling silver wire (the pistol retains 100% of its silver wire). Silver hall-marked foliate butt cap. Silver Hallmarks for 1785-6.
