A 18-Bore Flintlock Queen Anne Pistol by Collumbell. With three-stage turn-off cannon barrel, signed ‘COLLUMBELL LONDON’ along the top and stamped with London proof and makers marks and the number ‘2’, decorated with scrolling foliage at the breech and cut with a sighting groove, foliate engraved tang, signed border engraved lock, swelling figured walnut butt carved in relief with a shell around the barrel tang, with cast and chased silver mounts comprising trophy of arms side-plate, escutcheon and grotesque mask butt cap.
