A 18-Bore Flintlock Cannon Barrelled Pistol by Manning. With three-stage turn-off barrel stamped below with London proofs and makers mark, border engraved action signed in script on one side, ‘Manning’ and ‘Salop’ on the other, sliding trigger guard safety engraved with a flower head on the bow, and figured flat sided walnut butt, with vacant oval silver escutcheon and border engraved butt cap.
