• A 1796 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Troopers Sword by Craven. With straight single edged blade cut to a ‘spear point’, stamped with Military inspection marks and stamped with the makers name along the back edge, steel hilt with pierced circular guard adapted in the field, wooden grip overlaid with leather (wire binding now missing) interestingly the back-strap is cut with nine notches (possibly denoting kills?) complete with an original steel scabbard with two hanging rings.
