A 10-Bore Flintlock Officers Pistol by Mace of Reading. With heavy sighted octagonal barrel, with foliate engraved breech, gold line and platinum touch-hole, engraved tang, incorporating rear-sight. Bevelled, stepped detented lock, decorated with scrolling foliage, full-stocked in walnut, cut with a band of chequering at the grip, engraved steel trigger guard decorated with stands of arms on the bow and pineapple finial, turned ramrod pipes and original brass tipped ramrod with worm.
